Move To Power - Power To Move.
“All human beings are essentially evil. Every thousand years or so, they choose someone strong enough, and good enough, to burn at a stake or oh I don’t know, hang on a cross! Because they can take it. They can carry the blame of so called sins perpetrated so far. And by destroying something so good, you also destroy the evil you associate with it.”
“Wow. And all I asked was whether you had a good morning so far.”
“Well I haven’t had my coffee yet. Can’t seem to find any of my cups.”
“I’d never have guessed.”
“But look at the patterns.”
“Of mankind? Or your new china cups? Because they are remarkably similar.”
“Why? Because you hate both?”
“No. Because I think man can break out of his self destructive cycle. Just like I broke all your china cups.”
“Well that tells me something.”
“Let me guess. That I’m such an optimist?”
“That I should stop trying to find a cup.”
“Right. Sorry about that.”
“No you’re not.”
“Well. Yea. I guess not.”
“So why’d you say it then? Did you not mean that about mankind too?”
“Well, look at Mars. All of those Martians finished half the water on their planet, and then fought each other for the other half. They fought for seven mars years. And when they finally decided they could just share all the water, they went and discovered Plutonium. They called it that just to annoy the people on Pluto because in terms of water issues, Pluto’s just a stone’s throw away.”
“Well not really. Coz then they’d throw stones at them.”
“And when that brought about the inter-planetary Patent wars, they decided the best way to get rid of their troubles was to drop off all that Plutonium onto Earth.”
“That was a bad move. Well. Tactically smart at the time, but strategically... well... I’m sure they can’t have known their whole planet was going to be hit by a lethal gas that could only be countered by a large dose of all that plutonium they had just gotten rid off.”
“Well of course they didn’t. I didn’t give them any warning now did I.”
“What? That was you? You can’t go killing off the entire inhabitants of a planet like that. You’re not God you know.”
“Right. Of course. You are. But you were busy buying your china cups on Earth that day. And I was bored. And some guy told his wife, ‘It will be a cold day in hell before I visit my mother-in-law! ’
Well. It was a cold day then.
People don’t realise they have the power to move hell and heaven just as they have the power to move Earth.”
“Thank God for that.”
“Oh! Sure. Why’d you always get the credit?”
